Magical Evening

We had a wonderful time exploring the streets of El Born with our guide, Marc. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and interested in making sure we all had a great time. He took the time to speak Spanish with my 15 year old daughter. She was delighted by that. El Born has a great feeling, full of energy with people out with their kids and dogs, visitors from all over the world. Interesting boutiques, coffee shops (Go to Magnifico for coffee. Another great Marc recommendation), restaurants, museums. The Flamenco Show was passionate and exciting, in an intimate room in an old palace right in the middle of El Born. Marc shared a tapas dinner with us, recommending his favorites. He made some impromptu stops during the tour, including an olive oil store where he arranged to let us sample the wares. Delicious.
